Who owns the site when we are done?+
You do. We build the site, and we can host it. The code is delivered to an account in your name, the domain stays at your registrar, and hosting is a service. If we stop working together, you keep the files.
Do you host it?+
Yes. Keep ($199 a month) and Grow ($399 a month) are how we host, maintain, and monitor the site after launch. Open includes the first month of hosting. You may also take the project files and host the site yourself.
Why not Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress?+
Those products rent you a site. You do not own the files. We build a custom site you can take to any developer. We can host it, and this website is built the same way.
Do you write the copy?+
You provide the facts about the business. We edit the words so each page has a clear job. Full ghostwriting is a written change order.
What if you miss the timeline?+
If your content and feedback arrive on time and we still miss the published week, you receive a free month of care. A change in scope is quoted on its own.
Can customers pay me on the site?+
Yes. Stripe checkout is +$1,500 on Open or Core. Five pages plus a pay button is $4,500. You open a Stripe account in your name, and the money goes to you. On Custom, checkout can be the one included feature. A small shop, one product or a short list people can buy, is in scope.
Can I edit it myself later?+
Yes, for the words. New pages and layout changes need a developer: GoodmanStudios on a care plan, or anyone who can work in the code. That is what owning the site means.
What do you not build?+
Native apps and two-sided platforms. We also do not resell a Wix or Squarespace site. A small shop on your Stripe account is in scope. We take one custom site at a time.
